Kid Galahad
Out of the service and looking for work, Walter Gulick (Elvis) gets a job sparring in Willy Grogan's training camp. Walter's raw but he can take a punch and has a solid right hand. One day he KOs a strong fighter named Joie Shakes, and Willy sees that with proper guidance the kid could make some money in the ring. Willy needs a payoff fighter because he's into Otto Danzig for a lot of money. Otto is really bad news, and has guys at the camp keeping tabs on new fighters and to make sure that Willy doesn't welch.
Willy's sister Rose visits the camp, and she and Walter fall in love. Walter just wants to make enough money in the ring to marry Rose and go into the car business, but Willy is against his sister getting involved with a fighter because it's no life for a lady. Walter is coming along fine but not quite ready for the big time when Danzig forces Willy to put him in the ring against a guy who really outclasses him so Danzig can fix the fight.
Danzig offers Walter's trainer a lot of money tp quit so he can put his own guy in the corner and make sure his bet is covered. The trainer refuses and Danzig's boys start to break him up. Willy comes into the locker room before the guys are finished and with Walter's help cleans up the floor with them. With Danzig out of the picture, Walter KOs his opponent in the big fight, and Willy blesses his marriage to Rose.

The Elvis Encyclopedia by David E. Stanley
I'm riding the rainbow,
hitting the highway to happiness
Oh yes, I'm looking to find
someone whose meant to be mine

I'm living to love
and loving to live
I've got a heart
I'm longing to give
I'm riding the rainbow,
I'll follow that star to where you are

I'm riding the rainbow,
heading for heaven and happiness
I guess somebody somewhere,
someday will teach me to care

But being alone,
don't bother me
I'm free to have fun
It's fun to be free

I'm riding the rainbow,
I'll follow that star
I'm riding the rainbow
to where you are
